Tuitionites is an online platform that connects students seeking Home Tuition or Online Tuition with tutors across India. Tuitionites acts solely as a technology platform facilitating connections between students and tutors and is not a party to any tuition agreement entered into between users.

2.1 Information You Provide

When you create an account or use our services, we may collect information including:

• Mobile number
• Email address (where provided)
• Date of birth
• Gender
• City and location information
• Educational details
• Subjects, classes, and courses
• Teaching preferences
• Tuition requirements
• Tutor profile details
• Profile photographs (if uploaded)
• Communication with our support team

Certain information is mandatory to create an account or use specific services.

2.2 Account Authentication

We currently authenticate users using mobile number and One-Time Password (OTP) verification.

To verify your identity, OTPs may be delivered through our communication partners.

2.3 Payment Information

When you purchase subscriptions or credits, payments are securely processed through Razorpay.

Tuitionites does not collect or store your complete debit card, credit card, banking credentials, or UPI PINs on its servers. Payment information is processed directly by our authorized payment gateway in accordance with their privacy practices.

We may receive limited payment-related information such as:

• Payment status
• Transaction ID
• Subscription purchased
• Amount paid
• Payment timestamp

2.4 Information Collected Automatically

At present, Tuitionites does not automatically collect personal information such as your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, or similar device-specific information for user profiling.

However, limited technical information may be generated as part of the normal operation of the Platform (such as timestamps associated with account activity or system logs necessary for security, troubleshooting, and maintaining the Platform). Such information is used solely for operational and security purposes and is not used to personally profile users.

2.5 Analytics

We use Google Analytics to better understand how visitors use our Platform.

Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, session duration, browser information, approximate location, and device information. This information is aggregated and helps us improve our services.

We use your information to:

• Recommend students with suitable tutors.
• Recommend tutors with relevant tuition requirements.

Tuitionites limits the sharing of personal contact information.

Student Contact Information

Student contact details associated with a tuition requirement are visible only after a tutor successfully unlocks the requirement using a valid subscription and available credits, subject to the Platform's applicable rules.

Tutor Contact Information

Tutor contact details become visible to students only after the student successfully unlocks the tutor's contact details using a valid subscription and available credits.

Contact information is shared solely to facilitate genuine educational interactions between students and tutors.

Tuitionites uses two categories of cookies.

Essential cookies. These are necessary for the secure operation of the Platform. They support security and authentication-related functionality and ensure the safe and reliable operation of the Platform. Because they are strictly necessary, disabling them may prevent certain features of the website from functioning correctly, or may prevent you from accessing secure areas of the Platform.

Analytics cookies. As described in section 2.5, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Platform. Google Analytics sets cookies (including _ga and _ga_*) which collect information such as pages visited, session duration, browser information, approximate location, and device information. This information is aggregated and helps us improve our services.

We do not use cookies to:

Where a student is a minor, we encourage parents or legal guardians to supervise the student's use of the Platform and assist with the creation and management of the student's account where appropriate.

Users may request deletion of their Tuitionites account by contacting our support team.

Upon receiving a valid request, we will process account deletion in accordance with applicable legal and operational requirements. Certain information may continue to be retained where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

Tuitionites reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, disable, or permanently delete any user account, profile, content, or access to the Platform if we reasonably believe that the user has violated our Terms and Conditions, applicable laws, platform policies, engaged in fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or unlawful activities, attempted to compromise the security or integrity of the Platform, or otherwise acted in a manner that may harm Tuitionites or its users.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tuitionites may take such action with or without prior notice and shall not be liable for any resulting loss of access, content, credits, subscriptions, or other benefits associated with the affected account. All decisions made by Tuitionites regarding account suspension or deletion shall be final and binding, subject only to any rights available under applicable law.

Tuitionites reserves the exclusive right, at its sole discretion, to modify, amend, update, replace, or remove any part of this Privacy Policy at any time, with or without prior notice, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Any changes shall become effective immediately upon publication on the Platform unless otherwise stated. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy will indicate the effective date of the latest revision.

It is the responsibility of users to review this Privacy Policy periodically to remain informed of any updates. Continued access to or use of the Platform after any modification constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tuitionites shall not be liable for any unauthorized access, data loss, interruption, or security breach beyond its reasonable control.

Tuitionites is solely an intermediary platform connecting students and tutors.

Tuitionites does not arrange, schedule, manage, supervise, recommend, employ, endorse, or conduct tuition classes or teaching services. We are not a tuition provider, educational institution, recruitment agency, employer, contractor, or representative of either students or tutors.

All decisions and arrangements made after contact details have been exchanged—including but not limited to tuition fees, mode of teaching, class schedules, trial classes, teaching methods, duration, curriculum, study material, payments between users, cancellations, refunds, attendance, academic outcomes, conduct, safety, and all other terms of engagement—are made solely between the student (or parent/guardian) and the tutor.

Tuitionites is not a party to any agreement, contract, understanding, or transaction entered into between users and assumes no responsibility or liability for the performance, quality, accuracy, legality, suitability, availability, conduct, or outcomes of any tuition services. Any dispute, claim, loss, damage, injury, dissatisfaction, or legal matter arising from interactions or arrangements between users shall be resolved solely by the parties involved.

Users are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any tuition arrangement. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tuitionites disclaims all liability arising out of or in connection with any relationship, agreement, or transaction formed between students (or parent/guardian) and tutors through the Platform.

Tuitionites follows a strict NO REFUND policy for all subscription plans, Premium Plans, credits, and any other paid services offered on the Platform. All purchases are final, non-cancellable, non-transferable, and non-refundable, whether used in full, in part, or not used at all. By purchasing any paid service on the Platform, users acknowledge and expressly agree to this No Refund Policy.
