Home Tuition Jobs in Pune

The first thing to check on a Pune requirement is which side of the city it is on. An evening slot in Kharadi or Viman Nagar and a second one in Kothrud is two lessons on paper and a long stretch of the evening in traffic, so tutors here build a route before they build a timetable. The board is worth asking about early as well, since SSC, CBSE and ICSE homes want quite different things from the same class, and requirements marked open to online are what make the far side of the city usable at all.

The two halves of the city also want different tutors. Around Wakad, Hinjewadi, Baner and Kharadi a good share of the parents moved to Pune for work, the schooling is English-medium CBSE or ICSE, and the ask is often to close the distance left by a change of board or state part-way through the year. Older Pune — the peths, Kothrud, Sahakar Nagar, Karve Nagar — carries more SSC and more Marathi-medium schooling, where being able to teach a chapter in the language the textbook uses matters more than the qualification list on your profile.

The senior years are a different job again. After Class 10 much of the Science stream is in a CET, JEE or NEET batch alongside junior college, so what is left for a private tutor is an early hour, a late one or a Sunday, and usually one subject taken up for a specific reason rather than the whole year. The younger classes are steadier: those arrangements tend to run several days a week for the length of the session, and they are what makes holding one part of the city worth doing in the first place.
