Choose your city to see tutors. Class 8 experience is ranked first — results are not restricted to it.
Class 8 is the last unhurried year in school. Nothing outside the school's own report card depends on it, and it is the last syllabus taught at a pace that leaves room to go back over something that did not land the first time.
That makes it the cheapest year to fix an old problem in. Linear equations, mensuration and the first properly separated physics and chemistry arrive here, and everything from Class 9 onwards assumes them. Repair work done in Class 8 competes with nothing; the same repair attempted in Class 10 competes with board revision.
Some families also use this year to start foundation work for entrance exams. That is a fair use of the time, but it is worth being clear which of the two jobs a tutor is being hired for, because filling old gaps and building ahead are not the same lesson.
